Destinations can be great, but a major in-between time is getting to them. Still, when the path is also a goal, all is well:

Yeah, bikes are a prime example of elevating the "getting somewhere" into a main event.
Bikes are so good that I now own a few of them. That's a part of Belgification, I guess. The new addition is a folding one. Small wheels can still serve big adventures:
But other means of transportation serve me well, too.
